Andrassy Avenue is an iconic boulevard in Budapest in the XIV district, dating back to 1872. The avenue lined with spectacular Neo-renaissance mansions and townhouses and was recognised as a World heritage site in 2002. It is also one of Budapest's main shopping streets, with fine cafes, restaurants, theatres, luxury shops and the opera house.

The famous avenue leads into Varosliget (Hungarian:City Park) where many interesting sites can be found such as Heroes' square, the zoo, the Szechenyi Bath, an open air ice-rink and a lot more.
